EVENTS COORDINATOR

FULL-TIME | SALARY | NIGHTS/WEEKENDS

About the Role
At Fond du Lac Beer Company, our event space is the heartbeat of our community. We host everything from intimate bridal showers and wedding receptions to lively Oktoberfest celebrations and live music nights. We're looking for an Events Coordinator who can hold all of those pieces together with warmth, grace, and genuine enthusiasm.

This isn't a behind-the-desk role. You'll be present, engaged, and the face of the experience for our guests. You'll wear many hats, juggle multiple timelines, and do it all with a smile because you genuinely love bringing people together.

The Events You'll Bring to Life
Our calendar is rich and varied. You'll coordinate everything from weddings and receptions, bridal and baby showers, memorial services, corporate meetings, and community events. Each event carries its own tone, timeline, and needs, and shifting gears gracefully between them is simply part of the role.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, from initial inquiry through event completion

  • Manage multiple events simultaneously across different stages of planning

  • Coordinate internal logistics from staffing, setup, timelines, and vendor communication

  • Be present and hands-on at most events, including weekends and select evenings

  • Develop event concepts and programming ideas that resonate with our brewery and community audience

  • Collaborate with our bar staff, kitchen, and management team for seamless execution

  • Maintain event records, client correspondence, and booking systems with care and accuracy

  • Bring fresh ideas for seasonal events, promotions, and community programming

  • Handle last-minute changes and day-of challenges calmly and professionally

Who You Are
You're poised under pressure. When plans shift and three things happen at once, you find a way. You're a natural communicator who writes clearly, speaks confidently, and earns client trust quickly. You're warm and people-first, bringing genuine kindness to every interaction, whether it's a joyful wedding or a somber memorial service. Whether the event is big or small, it’s meaningful and intentional. You're brewery-minded, with an appreciation for craft beer culture and the audience that comes with it. And you're a creative collaborator who comes with ideas, adapts them, and makes the team around you better.

What We're Looking For

  • Preferred 2+ years of experience in event coordination, hospitality, or a related field

  • Availability on weekends and some evenings (his is a must)

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent events

  • Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills

  • An appreciation for craft beer culture and the brewery environment

  • A collaborative spirit and willingness to roll up your sleeves with the team (attendance to weekly management meetings are required)

  • Examples or a portfolio of past events (a plus, not required)

Salary Range: $40,000 - $50,000, plus incentives
